- Weed Eradication
- Starting Monday, June 2, 2008, tribal employees began the process of preventing the spread of several invasive and noxious weed species, including tall white top (perennial pepperweed). Contact either William Cowan (see above) or the Tribe's Environmental Coordinator (775.622.7520 or ron.johnny@summitlaketribe.org) for a copy of the memorandum outlining the safety precautions being taken to warn tribal members and other visitors to Summit Lake recently emailed to tribal members and other interested persons, and mailed to all tribal members in the Tribe's 3rd Quarter Environmental Newsletter.
